As has been traditional, what’s a Honeoye Falls festival without the Masons grilling up delicious delectables for festival goers? Here’s how Union Star Lodge W.M. Jacob C. Anderson describes this past weekend’s festivities:
“The Festival at the Falls was a huge success. Union Star Lodge #320 was serving their usual fare of Hamburgers, Italian sausage, hot dogs, and back by popular demand, fresh cut curly fries. We have been serving food at the community events within Honeoye Falls for well over a decade now. One of the best parts for us as Masons, is to interact with the community we raise money for. As they have continued to support us, we continue to give back all of our proceeds to various organizations within Honeoye Falls; such as scholarships within the school, The Kade Project, FISH, and others.”
“This year we had one of our best turnouts with nearly 18 total volunteers including friends and family members of our lodge. Our new candidate Jorge Del Toro brought his wife Stephanie, our Worshipful Master brought his two young children to help with drinks and orders. His daughter Renee was happily improving her math skills by working the cash register. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible, and a big thank you to Howard Hanna for hosting this event after a brief COVID hiatus. We look forward to seeing everyone at more upcoming events!”
