Large Number Of Union Star Members Attend College Of Freemasonry

The 2025 College of Freemasonry, an enlightening biennial event, hosted by the Scottish Rite Valley of Rochester, was held on March 22, 2025. Open to both Masons and the public, this event offers a series of captivating lectures on intriguing topics that explore the rich traditions, history, and philosophy of Freemasonry. With the theme “Freemasonry, What’s the Beef?” attendees gained fresh insights into Masonic teachings and their modern-day relevance. This year, members and their guests examined the history of anti-Masonry and the reasons behind the controversies surrounding our fraternity. Next year marks the 200th anniversary of the William Morgan Affair. The abduction of William Morgan occurred in 1826 in Western, New York. It led to the anti-Masonic movement. The Thomas W. Jackson Award Excellence in Masonic Education Award was also be presented at the College of Freemasonry this year.

Nearly 100 Masons, their family members, and other members of the public attended the Eleventh College of Freemasonry Educational Event. Union Star large members made a large showing at the event.
